TOILETS
A Toilet can be clogged by a build-up of toilet paper, wipes, paper towels, foreign objects and feminine hygiene products. A home must have a working toilet so unclogging it is deemed an emergency repair.

SINKS
The most common sink clog in a house usually occurs at the kitchen sink. The build-up of grease, soap, food particles and ground up food from the disposal, all lead to the eventual blockage.

BATH TUBS
Another common blockage occurs in the bath or the shower and  originates from a build-up of hair and soaps.  Indications include a slow drain flow or  standing water altogether.

Externally, it can be damaged by tree roots, corrosion, shifting soil and material failure.

STORM SEWER
Heavy rains, fast thaws and the ensuing excess water, can overwhelm storm sewers at the house and under public streets. Once a backup occurs, water could back flow through the home’s sewer drain and cause sewage backup in the basement toilets and sinks.

Know the condition of a property’s pipes BEFORE finalizing the purchase!  For peace of mind, schedule a camera inspection and present the seller with a professional sewer line report indicating flaws or defects that you wish repaired.

HOUSE FLOOD
Use one of our submersible pumps to siphon out standing water from the basement through an open door or a window. If the flood was caused by the failure of a sump pump, then once the basement has been drained, the sump pump should be replaced.
